The Gamification of Training – Training is a boring and staid industry that is getting a much needed makeover. Using games for training is the new wave of learning at the best companies. Your people’s increased productivity is the only way your company will consistently win. Try using games to gain greater engagement and acceptance (and maybe even fun) in your training environment. Here are a couple of games to try out: Kahoot.com; Head’s Up; and Salad Bowl.
Wim Hof revisited – Nearly 7 months after my initial Wim Hof program, and I was still doing my breathing everyday. The problem is that I had plateaued. I felt like my motivation was disintegrating, and my breath hold times were stagnant. So, I went back and restarted the 10-week course again from week one. Almost immediately, I improved my breath hold times and my overall feeling of satisfaction by 30-40%. Sometimes, going back and relearning something I think I already know provides enormous benefits.
