The San Diego Zoo Safari Park – My parents who have annual passes to the Zoo, took me and my kids to the Wild Animal Park. It is amazing for kids. The animals are spectacular. There are a number of interactive exhibits where they learn and participate. And, one of the best parts for the kids was the ropes course. We spent two and a half hours wearing a harness and working our way through three fun courses. I wish they had this stuff when I was a kid!

Cheryl Sandberg – Arguably the best executive in the world. I love so much about what Cheryl has accomplished. Here is a great quote on some advice she got from her late husband on how to work with Mark Zuckerberg: “Mark and I didn’t agree on a lot of substantive things at that point,” Sandberg told Hoffman. “And Dave  told me, he’s like, ‘Don’t work any of those out. You never will.’ He said, ‘What you want from Mark is process agreement on how you will work things out. Because even if you work all the questions you have out now, they’re going to change.”

Seneca – “It is better to conquer our grief than to deceive it.” We all need to address grief at some time in our lives. Sometimes, I feel like I take things a little too seriously and need to deal with grief more than I should. Check out an amazing article on dealing with grief here.

South of Nick’s in San Clemente – This is the best high quality, upscale Mexican food I have had in all Southern California. Nothing more to say.
