Short and sweet for today:
Book: Urban Meyer’s “Above the Line”– he talks about a concept of “above the line behavior” vs. “below the line behavior.” Above the line behavior is intentional, on purpose, and skillful. It’s positive, it’s problem-solving, it’s empowered. Below the line behavior is impulsive, it’s on autopilot, it’s resistant, it’s blame-ridden, it’s complaining. I have found this to be a very helpful mindset for leadership methodology that I’m trying to implement.
